Testimonials

Our Story. Our impact.

I worked for 25 years in the oil and gas industry and believe we need all energy sources to meet the world demand for energy. We have 13 grandchildren and hope to pass on a better world to them and clean energy and responsible O&G production is a part of that.

Karen Mead

Economic Impact

Terrie
"NM has known the need to diversify its economy away from fossil fuels for decades. Now is the time to retrain oil field workers to cap abandoned wells, protect water, and manufacture wind and solar products. Rural communities can benefit from small co-ops for their energy."
Glenn, Santa Fe
"Clean energy is the future of New Mexico's economic development and diversification. From energy efficiency to renewable energy to electrified transportation, the opportunities for New Mexicans are going to be immense."
Sam, Albuquerque
"I support clean energy because of the jobs it will create. Expanding a new industry will more than replace all the jobs lost in the fossil fuels industry. Its not only the right thing to do for the planet, its the right thing for the American people."
Nalin
"I support clean energy because of the consistency of future energy prices, the decrease in pollutants, and the exciting prospects for new technology that can positively benefit our world."
Joshua, Albuquerque
"As a New Mexican, I am excited about the growth of clean energy in our state. It's an opportunity to grow our economy and supply jobs supporting grid and the clean energy that powers it. We have to shift our economy in this direction... and now is the time to do it- we can be on the leading edge of this transition."

Preserve New Mexico

David, Carlsbad
"We only have one planet to live on and we need to care for it like the treasure it is... I live in one of the most prolific oil fields in the world, and I am sick and tired of seeing the Chihuahua Desert being destroyed..."
Vivian
"New Mexico has been blessed with {so} much natural beauty with clean energy there is much less chance of polluting this amazing state and it's occupants."
Linda
"I believe that every one of us in our communities should care about clean energy. It's imperative to me that we have clean air to breathe, clean water to drink and grow food for our families and that we have a healthy environment for future generations."
Eve, Las Cruces
"New Mexico is rich in renewable resources available to power our future: sun, wind, thermal... Investing in our tomorrow will pay off for generations. Out-sourcing to extract non-renewable resources will leave us poor. Let’s do this!"
Ann, Rodeo
"It is essential for New Mexico's economic and environmental success that we provide well paying, safe, sustainable employment opportunities across all socioeconomic and geographic areas. Rural and urban communities must have long-term, family-supportive industries."
